What is a well-being score?

Understanding the Well-being score — what it is and how we measure It

At TrueTribe, we use the Well-being score to provide a clear, high-level indicator of your team’s and organization’s overall well-being during each cycle — and how it evolves over time.

Think of the Well-being score as a snapshot of well-being at a given moment, reflecting key areas such as mental and physical health, a sense of meaning and fulfillment, and social connectedness.

How the score works

The Well-being score is expressed as a percentage, ranging from 0% to 100%:

  • Your team’s score is calculated by averaging the individual scores of all team members.
  • Your organization’s score is an average of all team scores across the company.

A score of 100% is virtually impossible (and not the goal). A healthy and realistic well-being score typically falls between 60–70%.

Any score above 70% is considered a high well-being result.

We recommend keeping an eye on how your team’s Well-being score shifts from cycle to cycle.

Where to find the score

You can view both your organization’s and team’s Well-being scores, but they are available in different places:

  • Organization score
You'll find the overall well-being score for your organization in the Admin Portal, under the Reports tab. Here you can still narrow it down to a specific department.
  • Team score
Your team’s average well-being score is available in the TrueTribe mobile app, under the Team tab.
  • Individual score
Your individual well-being score is available in the TrueTribe mobile app, under the Home tab. Please note: you first need to finish the scan for the score to show.
